The ceremony will begin at 11am. The school’s address is 34-74 113th Street.

Avella To Announce New Campaign Legislation

Tony Avella

Senator Tony Avella (D-College Point, Little Neck) will announce two new pieces of legislation today that he says will work to combat abuses of current election law by incumbent candidates and party bosses.

Avella specifically named Councilmember David Greenfield and Senator Daniel Squadron, both of whom resigned their office or declined nomination at a time when it was too late for voters to had a say in their representation.

The announcement will be at 1pm at Avella’s district office, 38-50 Bell Blvd.
